Guian Martin is a Filipina filmmaker, sharpening her axe in Brooklyn, NY.

Born and raised in Mayapyap Sur, Cabanatuan City. She emigrated from the Philippines to United States in 2017.

Saddened to leave her home country, where she was introduced to social realism in cinema, she aspires to make and be in the space of other creatives.

Since then she has acquired accreditations to attend various film festivals—NYFF, NewFest and Festival de Cannes—through her past work in film criticism and marketing.

Her main focus is in writing, directing, production design and wardrobe.
